Other Gods

Thou Shall Not Have Other Gods before me. There are many religions and all promise th they can somehow save the soul.

If you have a faith in Christ and believe that Jesus is God and son of God, saviour of mankind, then, believe in him and pray to him.

There is no need to venerate Mary or her heart. Is not venerate another word for worship? And is not mary a different entity as that of Jesus? Only God the father, Son and Spirit are to be prayed to.

Mary is but a good example of one that follows Christ. Yet if we know of he master, and know of the student, why do we copy the student, who is a fraction of the knowledge and work of the master? Copy the master so that you may be closer to the truth of what he master seeks to accomplish.

Also, why call on the student to intercede and pass a message to the Master, when the master has already told you that you yourself may call on him?

He himself has told you that you abide in Him and Him in you, yet you call and pray to images of His student, Mary or saints to supplicate to him. First, that demonstrates an attitude of unworthiness which will make the prayer ineffective. If you yourself do not believe you are worthy of your request, and are not convinced in your heart that you deserve it and want to declare the desire to your master, why should any other believe or grant that request?

First be filled with the certainty of God’s love for you, which we call faith. Then you will know that God is where you are.

Even images of Jesus, images of Mary, and any construction of man should not be prayed to. These are things of the world.

As a believer of Christ, if you abide by his teaching to love one another, that same God is in you, and you in Him. In your absolute prayers are the generous guarantees of Jesus Christ, that whatever you ask of the father according to His will, shall be given to you.

Therefore there is no need to supplicate, because God is not a man of ego that inflates at the words that you give. God is kindness, generosity and love that rejoices at your happiness, and delights in your satiafaction.

When you pray, do not pray repetitively. These many words do nothing. Along with the other rules I enjoin you not to pray the rosary nor strengthen any other but your God, the holy trinity. Jesus himself said, do not be like the gentiles who pray in repetition. Instead, pray how Jesus has taught. The our father… Talk to him in private because he knows everything in your heart. Gather in His name, and in a group of two or more, ask of him anything that will prosper His will on earth. Partake of bread and wine, and do it praying over the bread and wine and remembering his sacrifice and as a sign of total union with Him and his love for all. Through the bread and wine we are unified with the Son of Man, declaring our belief that he gives us eternal life, and allowing Him to come to us as we to Him.

You will know your prayers by its results. The love for him and the love for others will also be ignited. You will not pray for show, but rather your acts will be blessed by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You will love.
