The Robbers of Life

Where do we begin? I'm just going to write down what a lot of you are already thinking.
Let's start with the fact that the entire nation knew that the COVID-19 was coming from China, yet our government refused to close its doors.
This puts the Chinese people and relations with China before the very safety of our people.
Now the COVID-19 Virus is in the country. We have been infiltrated. We don't have enough hospital resources, and if prior history in China, and more currently, Italy, is to be the basis, we need more hospitals, and exponentially more ventilators than what we currently have. Quick action is necessary.
From the lay man's middle class perspective, we organized and mobilized volunteers. Business owner set up ways and means to make up for the lack of PPE suits and medical supplies.

The Filipino people are conscientiously caring about each other. We salute the frontliners for their daring sacrifices. We as a people are ready and willing. Even the faithful poor, who during times of crisis, pray to God for help. There haven't been any crimes committed because even our poor are dignified in that they will not dirty their hands with stolen goods. A glaring contrast to the true robbers.
Meanwhile, our leaders get multiple tests as the now infamous Koko Pimentel uses his power in a distasteful display of power mongering and extreme disregard for the life and safety of others.
We know we only have a few weeks before the body count starts rising exponentially. We pray that our quarantine would "flatten the curve".
We all breathe a sigh of relief as 275 Billion pesos funds is released for the COVID RESPONSE:
AT LAST
Our nurses will get their proper gear
No, what happened is the government sought to trap the donors actions in red tape and bureaucracy, slowing down an already robust volunteer space.

AT LAST
We can feed our poor. Yes, those who have no savings and no way to eat without working.
No, in fact, military men were caught on camera hurting the very people they were sworn to protect.
Everybody knows it's not their fault.
It is the government's responsibility to feed them. Moreover, that is the people's money, and that is for the people.
There may be an issue of correcting Mayor Vico Sotto on following rules on quarantine, however, let us keep our eyes on what truly matters:
How our government will use this 275 Billion to save our people's lives. That is our money. It should be used to feed our countrymen who are dying of poverty. It is for the common good, and that common good encompasses the care of our weakest and most in need.
There are true robbers among us. Robbers who have stolen the lives of some, and will be the cause of the loss of lives of so many. Robbers who don't care about the lives of our people, and who are busy lining their pockets with the taxes of our sweat and labor. These are the robbers that steal in broad daylight, and everyone sees them in their dirt, yet hail them as honorable and important.
"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice, when the wicked rule, the people groan" Proverbs 29:2

As I have posted on my video on Facebook, this is the reading that I got for them a week ago. God will remove three shepherds in one month.
The full text is Zachariah 11:
4 This is what the Lord my God says: “Shepherd the flock marked for slaughter. 5 Their buyers slaughter them and go unpunished. Those who sell them say, ‘Praise the Lord, I am rich!’ Their own shepherds do not spare them. 6 For I will no longer have pity on the people of the land,” declares the Lord. “I will give everyone into the hands of their neighbors and their king. They will devastate the land, and I will not rescue anyone from their hands.”
7 So I shepherded the flock marked for slaughter, particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock. 8 In one month I got rid of the three shepherds.
The flock detested me, and I grew weary of them 9 and said, “I will not be your shepherd. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish. Let those who are left eat one another’s flesh.”
10 Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations. 11 It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord.
12 I told them, “If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.” So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter at the house of the Lord.
14 Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.
15 Then the Lord said to me, “Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd. 16 For I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hooves.
17 “Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm be completely withered, his right eye totally blinded!”
Matthew 13:37
The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The fields is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age. and the harvesters are angels/messengers.
As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels (messengers), and they will weed out of his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears let him hear.
The word of the Lord.
Help us save these shepherds, and the people from dying. Please sign this petition calling on all leaders to DO THE RIGHT THING, and to use the money of the people for the people.
