Suffering is the result of sin and lawlessness. More particularly, actions devoid of love, and coming from a motivation of fear, hate or any type of malice is what creates suffering. The fear, hate or malice in itself is suffering. This suffering is self originated.
No one can suffer without one’s consent. However this statement bears much explanation. The universe is a compendium of interrelated systems. Let us say for the course of explanation, that we isolate the creation of one kind of suffering.
It always begins from the self. When the self is ignorant of the presence of his or her own spirit, he or she will always have an indefinable yearning. This can be translated in a need for accomplishment, power, fame, acceptance, beauty or whatever else. This internal suffering can lead to actions devoid of care for others, which creates suffering in other souls.
There has been amassed, a great pollution of suffering and sin in the world. Only love can overcome it.
True love that comes from God can give any person the power to overcome all negativity and suffering. When one has faith in God, it bridges the path of love into our souls. Faith is the firm belief, the unshakeable certainty in God, His words, His omnipotence and omniscience and His identity as our true origin.
The Kingdom of God is the manifest of all people being of such resolute faith and connection to God. There will be a time when society can make the choice of surpassing the ego. When this happens, all interactions will be filled with respect, peace and love.
All the troubles of this present (2013AD) world have come about because of the continuous choice of selfishness and ego. The dawn of the new age must come after all the accumulated negativity in the world is overcome by love. It is our call to choose to love in every instance.
In the end, love shall overcome all ignorance, all hate, all fear, and all suffering.
As a caveat, this cannot happen without the Faith in Yeshue/ Jesus the Messiah. He is the conduit of life giving love, through which all may feel the fullness of God.
Why does God allow it?
God allows us free will. Whatever the illnesses or negative circumstances we have, we have always been given the power to change it. With correct beliefs about the world, the self and the relationship of the two, we may overcome all suffering.
However, since we are not born in a vacuum, we are born into preexisting choices that our fathers and forefathers have made. It is now our duty to overcome this negativity and state with love.
Because people may not be given the proper knowledge of how to overcome, they remain ignorant and perpetuate their negative state. This is the role that each person plays on the other, and also why our evolution and improved circumstance will be hastened by each person overcoming their selfishness and working for the common good.
What is important to remember is that sin can be overcome because our nature is greater than this. Internal suffering is but an illusion based on our ignorance of the fact that we are blessed souls, loved by the powerful God, and given dominion over this physical world. External suffering coming from the negativity of others must be met with love, if not love, then must be stopped. Yet how it is stopped is by the grace and power of forgiveness, of refraining from retaliation, of positive action, which inevitably still comes from God’s love.
